Card number 3

Hi All,

Well I finally finished card number 3, just in time for my sons second Birthday Party of the day.

This time the 8 year old is into Minecraft, so I created this card with lots of 1x1cm card stock, clued them all together then ran it through the Big Shot. The one fantastic thing about over worked and scratched Big Shot plates are they create this fantastic texture on the top of the card stock, which is perfect for a boys card.

 

I just love making wacky cards and with one more to create before the month end, I better get my thinking cap on.

Hi All,

It's been a great month for crafting with 4 birthdays that I have had to make cards for.

The first and most important is my husbands, which was on the 3rd of this month. His Mother and I bought him an Xbox One, however because it's so new and hasn't been released yet, I decided to give him something to look at leading up to that date and created this (and I must say so myself) fantastic card...

 

 

The second card is for a Rugby mad! 8 year old. This was a little hard because I had to think outside the box and create something that looked close to a field. I think I pulled it off?

Stampin Up! World Cardmaking day!

Hi All,

I'm not sure if you've heard, but today is Stampin Up World card making day (@stampinup #wcmd2013) so I created a card for my 5 year olds Birthday and below is my entry.

I created this card using Whisper White, Silver, White Vellum and Bermuda Bay card stock. And utilising the stamp sets "Morning Post Number" RRP $40.95NZD (2013 Holiday Catalogue) and "You're My Hero" RRP W$41.95NZD C$33.95NZD (2013-2014 Annual Catalogue).
I embossed the "You're My Hero" with Stampin Up Clear embossing powder and coloured using the Stampin Up Markers. The punches used for this card were the Scallop Oval and Hexagon.

Purple all the way...

Hi Crafters,

This is my second post in the last month yipee, getting things sorted now the little man is doing full days in kindy (which I'm LOVING!)

I had to create two cards within 30 minutes (as per normal leaving things to the last minute) for the same person yesterday who just loves the colour purple, so ask and I shall deliver...

 

Tools used:

Cardstock: Elegant Eggplant, Naturals White and Perfect Plum, Dies: Blossom Party Originals, Embossing folder: Lacy Brocade (Holiday cat) Punches:1 1/4 scallop, Extra Large Oval Extras: 1.6cm Flower Trim, basic pearls, Silver shimmer paper and Brads. Stamp Set: Well Scripted (retired)
Ink Pads: Elegant Eggplant.

I did have fun playing however next time (and I say this every time) I'm going to give myself more time to play.

NZSU MDS Challenge #1

I thought seeing as I up keep the NZSU site, I should really create something for the challenge I’ve set.

I have created the below card for the challenge and that was to create a page or card using the three colours combination, Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise and Daffodil Delight. I thought these colours would look great as a baby card. And as I’d love to have a little girl in my VERY male household why not create a pink one this time!

Playing with Lucky Limeade...

When I placed my order this month I over order the Lucky Limeade cardstock, but lucky for me it's one of my favourite colours, so I got to work this afternoon and created these cool kids cards.

Each one is using the stamp set "Dinoroar" pg 64 of the annual catalogue
