I don't have much time now a days with 2 small children and a busy home life, so once again I have created a card within half an hour for a party my son went to today. I really need to sit down for half a day and create a whole lot of cards for these last minute moments.
This time I was inspired by Paula Dobsons wonderful card creations with her Sponging, masking techniques and her Sepia Silhouette card. I tried it with the stamp set Dinoroar (which I love) and started trying to make the sponging look like hills, but after a while got too excited with this technique and realised it looked like a mix of clouds and hills.
I found by sponging Lucky Limeade with Island Indigo it created this fantastic green that changed to various colors as I kept applying in different areas.
I then stamped the Dinoroar images (RRP $45.95 Clear or $57.95 wood mounted) directly on the card stock with Staz On, then onto a sheet of Confetti White card stock, water colored then cut them out, and lay them on with Dimensionals to give the 3-D effect.

Wedding cards
I had two cards to make today for the same wedding, the first I had time to create and then was given half an hour to created the second (someone forgot to organise themselves better lol). The funny thing is I prefer the half hour rush job one better then the one I created in advance...
The first card was a little spin on the average wedding card, this Idea was given to my by a friend who lent me the "On The Line" stamp set, which unfortunately is a retired item. Why you say did I post it... because it looks cute!!
The Second card is the one I created with only half an hour to do it in version and because I don' have any wedding stamps (as yet) I created a simple yet I think elegant look...
The Third card I have is using the current stamp set "Dinoroar" RRP $45.95 clear and $57.95 Wood Mounted. This is the first time I've used this set and now I'm hocked loving every minute it's so much fun to create dinosaurs especially with two sons. I chose a slightly different sentiment " Heard from the Heart" RRP $37.95 Clear and $46.95 Wood to the one in the set and this was because it was for my teenage class...

Fun with the Button Buddies Stamp Set
I have my first of 4 consecutive classes for a group of Teenagers wanting to learn a new hobbie, what better night to teach them about basic Stampin techniques using Stamps and the Wheels.
I have created the above card for tonight using the Button Buddies stamp set, $56.95 Clear mount and $74.95 for the Wood set and using the Designer series buttons to accessorise.
As per our Color Coach Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie are the Creative Combination, however I have run out of Pumpkin Pie so used Tangerine Tango, and I think it looks fab!
Next week we are going to learn about Embossing so watch this space...

What a busy month...
Well what a month Ive had, taking photos for rugby prize giving in between rugby games each weekend, looking after my 2 kids solo while my husband fly's all over the world. Then creating cards and attending Stampin Up days in between. I can finally post some cards.
The first card is from my swap for the Stampin Up Auckland Fun Day out in August. I really love the new Hostess set "Faith in Nature" but didn't want to distract from the great image so kept the card fairly simple in design. I used the new card stock Island Indigo, Pool Party along with So Saffron and Confetti White.
The second card I can't take any credit for it was created using the design from Teneale Williams. The reason I posted it was to show how creative this women is in her design. Mine doesn't compare to her's, but is a great example of how Stampin Up products don't necessarily need a stamped images to get your message across.
