Lollies anyone?

Each year for the past three years I've been helping my cousins make Christmas stockings filled with lollies for the children in our family. However each stocking had been hand cut out and with 40 to do it became quite a chore for my Aunty. 

But with the introduction of the Holiday Stocking Bigz L Die I was able to cut out 41 stockings in less than half an hour, and with the help of my three year old; who loves playing with my Big Shot.

The Holiday Stocking Die is located on page 193 of our catalogue and retails at $67.95 NZ$.

I used the small chocolate's to stuff each stocking along with some hard and soft lollies. The mesh was only $6.30 for 2 meters and made 41 stockings.

Christmas is early...

If you look on page 14 of the new Holiday Catalogue, you will see the Bigz Snow Flurry Die. Now you ask what can I do with that, well let me show you...

I created this great Christmas tree ornament using this Die Snow Flurry RRP $45.95. The Background Rosette is made using Pacific Point card stock and the snow flakes were made out of Silver Glimmer paper RRP $10.95  of the 2012-2013 catalogue (page 160).

The next creation was made out of the Bigz Die L Holiday Stocking RRP $67.95 within the 2012-2013 Catalogue (page 193).
Using the Glimmer paper I was able to stick them all together with the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets RRP $25.95 for 12 sheets (12x12 size). with the little stars around the rim coming from the Holiday collection Framelits Dies RRP $51.95 of the Holiday Catalogue (page 16).

They are finally here

Yes the wait is now over the new and exciting 2012-2013 catalogue has arrived. It's packed full of new and exciting stamps, accessories and even a few new surprises, one being the new in-colours.

But wait there's more, along with the new and exiting 2012-2013 Catalogue we have the NEW Holiday Catalogue and guess what... it goes from 1st September 2012 - 31st January 2013...WOOW.

" The Open Sea"

On Sunday I had a friend Vanessa come over for an overdue Stampin Up play date. I had been asked by my Mother-in-Law to make a 70th Man's birthday card, and as you could imagine I said to myself "where do a start" But after looking through my stash of stamp sets I landed on"The Open Sea" stamp set and it all went forward from there.

I just love the way it turned out, the colours all blended beautifully and the stamp set worked perfectly for the occasion.

Then after that I decided I would try a nice sweet card with a 3'd flower. I had so much fun creating this card, it took some time for the flower to dry, but with the different shape of the card I thought fitted perfectly to the design.

I Dig You!

 

Well it's been some time since I've posted, but now with my youngest on his way to kindy I have a spare 2 and a half extra hours three days a week, child free. And guess what? I'm stamping.... wahooooo 

 For my latest card I thought I would stick with the basic colors you’d see at school, plus I wanted to make the set "I Dig You" ($51.95 clear mount and $64.95 wood mounted) pop so I stamped the image on white card stock, and I'm surprised by the results.

Plus we have an exciting month with the launch of the New Autumn-Winter mini Catalogue and I have to say its jam packed with some REALLY exciting new product. 

Also this month we are holding our very first Stamp Camp for our stamp club members which Ann and I have been working hard to create some exciting projects for over 2 days. If you are interested in attending please let me or Ann know.
