Hello again!!!

Another weekend and another swap meet this time with the theme "Summer". I had always wanted to do the Tri-Fold card so decided now is a good time. I used my favorite card stock Concord Crush along with Whisper White. The Stamp Set used is Vintage Vogue, and with the Baroque Border Standard wheel outlined with the Uni-Ball white Gel Pen. The ink used is Peach Parfait, Concord Crush and Daffodil Delight. To make the small Frangipani I used the 1/2" (1.3cm) Circle Small punch. Christmas is almost here, don't forget to make your cards

Last weekend I attended my first full team Meeting and had my first card swap I loved every minute of it above is the card design for the swap. I used the Stamp Set Snow Swirled RRP $54.95 for wood mount. Card stock is real Red, Pear Pizzazz and Whisper white and utilising the new Designer Series paper Celebrations. the back ground is clear embossed.

Simple and Elegant

Thanks to my lovely Up-line Ann Wills I was able to make a gorgeous flower... now to make the card. I used my two favorite colors at the moment Concord Crush and Old Olive, I think they work well together. The Stamp set used is Vintage Vogue $39.95 clear mount and $49.95 Wood Mount, and Sincere Salutations $47.95 Wood Mount . Enjoy!

"Top Note" kids book

 

Using the Big Shot is so much fun that I thought I would try making something for my one year old and this is what I finished with. 

Using the Big Shot and the "To Note" Bigz Dies pg 154 value $52.50 I used Felt for the fabric and because of the size it can fit easily in my bag for those times you need a distraction. For the trim I used the 1/4 (6.4mm) Grosgrain Ribbon in Basic Black pg 137 price $13.25 and at 13.7 m long you can make quite a few.

Bring on Summer

Another experiment with the punches, can I make a Frangipani flower with the 1-3/8" Oval Extra-Large... well it can be done, 1-3/8" Oval Extra-Large pg 146 $41.50. The stamp set used is Vintage Vogue pg 96 an 8 piece set priced at $39.95 clear mount and $49.95 wood mount.

New kit has arrived...

The new kit has arrived, wahooooo, I purchased the New demonstrator kit pg 8 for $339.00  plus the Memories Add-On $90.00 plus there's more... because I signed up in the month of September I got the NEW In-Colors markers, Classic Ink pads and card stock for FREE, what more can a girl ask for... oww yes the rest of the catalogue :)

Having fun with the circle punch

I thought I would try a flower using the 1- 3/4" circle Extra-Large punch pg 146 of the new 2010- 2011 catalogue RRP $41.50 and quite happy with the results. Also using the stamp sets Sincere Salutations pg 107 RRP $47.95 and Butterfly Prints pg 75 RRP $24.95 clear mount and $30.95 Wood Mount.

Stampin’ Up! workshops are not considered a party but more of a workshop, so everyone who comes gets to make something to take home (no strings attached) and if you enjoy the party I can always host one at your house or by booking into one of my classes.
