Wedding cards are so much fun!!

Hi All,

It's been a while since I last posted and since then things have changed.

This year I've decided to take some time off to concentrate on myself and my health, so with that being said I decided to take a step back from Stampin Up and resign as a Demonstrator.

I'm still a VERY big supporter of the Stampin Up (I couldn't leave I would be lost) so I still go to my up line Ann's Monthly stamp club, I think I'd be lost without the girls each month and our get together.

I started the year by being asked to make a wedding card this month for a great friend of mine Lisa. I had so much fun playing around with his card and loved the result I thought I'd share it with you.

I hope you all have a great crafting month...

Enjoy

By golly another card made...

Hi Everyone,

Well all I can say is "I'm on a card making run" this is my 4th card in 3 weeks and again for an 8 year olds Birthday party. Our son is so social it's costing us lots of money on presents, but at least the cards aren't costing a lot which makes the husband happy!

I've always wanted to make a Lego card, so sat down and created my very first. I had no idea on Lego block sizes so guessed. The card stock used is Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point and Garden Green. I LOVE those colours all mixed together, it's so playful and fun.

I have one more to do before the end of next week, so keep coming back and you might see something new.

Last card for the month

Hi All,

Well I created the third and final card for the three Birthdays this month and I cased it from
Keryn Campbell fantastic Betsy's Blossom stamp set (which I love) RRPNZ $48.95 Clear , $60.95 Wood.

As always I left it to the last minute for this one, however all up the card took less than 10 minutes to make, so a fantastic quick and striking card... thanks Keryn for the inspiration.

With October's Birthday's finished, I'm now onto November's ones, then in between some Christmas Cards, so keep popping in to see what new.

Have a great week...

Card number 3

Hi All,

Well I finally finished card number 3, just in time for my sons second Birthday Party of the day.

This time the 8 year old is into Minecraft, so I created this card with lots of 1x1cm card stock, clued them all together then ran it through the Big Shot. The one fantastic thing about over worked and scratched Big Shot plates are they create this fantastic texture on the top of the card stock, which is perfect for a boys card.

I just love making wacky cards and with one more to create before the month end, I better get my thinking cap on.

Enjoy

And the cards keep coming.

Hi All,

It's been a great month for crafting with 4 birthdays that I have had to make cards for.

The first and most important is my husbands, which was on the 3rd of this month. His Mother and I bought him an Xbox One, however because it's so new and hasn't been released yet, I decided to give him something to look at leading up to that date and created this (and I must say so myself) fantastic card...

The second card is for a Rugby mad! 8 year old. This was a little hard because I had to think outside the box and create something that looked close to a field. I think I pulled it off?

I've enjoyed creating cards this month, I have two more to create in the next week so come back soon and see my next blog post!

Stampin Up! World Cardmaking day!

Hi All,

I'm not sure if you've heard, but today is Stampin Up World card making day (@stampinup #wcmd2013) so I created a card for my 5 year olds Birthday and below is my entry.

I created this card using Whisper White, Silver, White Vellum and Bermuda Bay card stock. And utilising the stamp sets "Morning Post Number" RRP $40.95NZD (2013 Holiday Catalogue) and "You're My Hero" RRP W$41.95NZD C$33.95NZD (2013-2014 Annual Catalogue).
I embossed the "You're My Hero" with Stampin Up Clear embossing powder and coloured using the Stampin Up Markers. The punches used for this card were the Scallop Oval and Hexagon.

I hope you get time to make a card today...
